Our Programs

To ensure success our teacher allow students to work at their own pace, introducing new materials only as current materials are mastered. Classroom environments and teaching materials are designed to heighten the child's natural intellect, curiosity, and love for learning. A "normalized" classroom is achieved by having the delicate balance of freedom and independence. Our dedicated teaching staff directs learning through exploration believing that in order to develop their intellectual, social and physical skills to the fullest, children must have freedom achieved through order and self discipline.

Montessori Curriculum

In our Montessori classroom children are grouped in 3-year age spans rather than the traditional grades. Younger children are stimulated by older children; and older children share with and care for those who are younger. Grouping children in this manner, much like the world itself where individuals of differing ages, cultural backgrounds and abilities work together and learn from each other, is on of the advantages we provide at Bowling Green's Plum Tree Montessori.
