Hey Parents!
Our fall festival was a lot of fun! Our sunflower pumpkin went for $100!! WOW! I was amazed!
Now that the weather is changing, you should make sure that your child has extra clothes that are warm!
Overalls are not appropriate clothing for school, as children have a hard time maneuvering the clasp.
Remember, two of our main focuses are potty-training and self independence.
Having appropriate clothing helps that process be a success.
Last Thursday, construction workers started working on the road, there were big tractors and trucks!
The kids were so excited about it!  We watched very tentatively for about thirty minutes!

We have lots of new works on our shelves!
We have a magnetic work that allows the children to explore things that are magnetic and things that are not,
and a geology work that has several types of rocks and a magnifying glass. It’s a big hit!
There are a few new works that involve the children grasping marbles and clothes pins with their index finger and thumb,
which helps develop their fine motor skills used for holding a pencil–their pincer grasp.
Children thrive on continuity and routine, so our group time is still the same everyday. We read about Oscar & Tilly, which is a book about waiting your turn.
The title of it is It’s My Turn.  It is written by David Bedford and Elaine Field.

We sing a new good morning song and it goes like this:
Good morning.  How are you?
Good morning.  How are you?
How are you this morning?
I’m fine and I hope you are too.
I’m fine and I hope you are too.
How are you this morning?
And we do the same song in the afternoon just change morning to
afternoon! We still do  geometric shapes, color matching games, the
continents and earth discussions during group time!
Yours Truly,

Toddler Family
P.S If you have any books that are toddler friendly, and not a cartoon
book that you would like to donate to our library we would greatly
appreciate it. We LOVE books!
