My Visit to the Nursery

September 3, 2010

This morning, I had the opportunity to work in our Nursery.  I immensely enjoyed myself!  It has been a while since my son, Colton, was a baby.  He is 21!  When I came in, Miss Carolyn was lying on the floor talking to Natalie, Bradley, & Rosalyn.  Natalie was crawling circles from the living room through the kitchen.  Bradley cannot wait to be able to sit up on his own.  He is such a happy boy! Rosalyn peacefully takes everything in.  And of course, she is so beautiful!  Believe it or not, there was not another child or teacher in sight.  The children were resting peacefully in their bedrooms with Miss Ashley & Miss Magan watching over them.

Then, Natalie & Rosalyn were hungry, and Bradley was content just to be talked to.  As Miss Carolyn predicted, one by one Kaden, Torben, Gus, Liam and Nicholas awoke.  Nicholas just started this week, and it as though he has been at Plum Tree from the very beginning of school.  He is so happy & beautiful! Kaden has the same big, beautiful eyes as his sister Lauren, who started kindergarten this year.  Torben came into the family room all smiles!  Gus is the youngest, and he has the most beautiful color, and I love his blanket!  As usual, Liam was all smiles and ready to explore!

Natalie, Rosalyn and Bradley were now ready to rest, and the others were ready to eat!  The ladies, Miss Carolyn, Miss Magan, Miss Ashley, & Miss Katie are amazing!  I am very proud of our Nursery!  Thank you for a wonderful morning, and I want to thank you, our  families for sharing your precious children with Plum Tree!

As I type this, Miss Kaitlin is in one of the toddler bathrooms with Gracie.  I can hear Gracie say, “wawa.”  Miss Kaitlin articulates, “Wa-ter.”  Gracie says, “ta-too.”  Miss Kaitlin says, “Wa-ter.”  Gracie says, “Wa-too.”  I love it!

Remember!  There is no school Monday, September 6th in observance of Labor Day.
