School Calendar Update

February 24, 2011

We will be in school on the following dates:
Thursday, March 10, 2011
Friday, March 11, 2011
Good Friday, April 22, 2011.
The school year has been extended until Friday, May 27, 2011.
There is no school on Friday, April 1, 2011.
Spring Break is April 4-8, 2011 and care will be offered.

The Primary classroom will have Show and Share tomorrow, Feb 25.

The Toddler classroom will have Pajama Day tomorrow, Feb 25.

Primary: Wonderful Day 1/18/11

February 1, 2011

Today was a wonderful day!

Mazes were made with red rods.

Structures were built with the brown prisms & pink cubes,
as well as our new tree blocks.

A portrait of Martin Luther King, Jr. was drawn.

Maps of The World, North America,
& Africa were traced and colored.

Bears were punched out. Arctic & African animals were stamped.

Words were made with moveable alphabets.

Workbooks were written in.

Reading books were read.

Math work & books were completed:
calendar,
number writing,
bead stairs,
addition,
multiplication,
& 100′s, 10′s, & units.

New Spanish vocabulary cards and words were introduced.

The tale of Tuk the Hunter was started, & a new lesson was introduced about the Inuit people and arctic animals.

Today was a wonderful day!
